Iveco Gearbox
Iveco fit a multitude of different transmissions in their range of vehicles.
The smaller & lighter range such as the Iveco Daily now take predominately the ZF 5 & 6 speeds using ZF’s 5s300 and 6s400.
As you move on to the mid-range vehicles, Iveco for many years have elected to fit their own series of gearbox produced in France by Fait Powertrain. These include a 5,6 and 9speed assembly, which we feel over the coming years will be phased out and they will turn to ZF to be the provider on the assembly line.
The heavy end of the Iveco truck line is fitted with solely ZF with them being the first major O.E to take the ZF AS Tronic on both series 1 and 2.
Also still popular in the tipper range and the tractor unit market is the ZF 16s181 and the ZF 16s221 many fitted with intarder units.

Iveco Differential
As with the transmissions, Iveco still produce their own axle assembly which is fitted throughout the lighter range of Daily’s and also leads into the mid-range where the E15 and E17 take the house assembly.
The Iveco Eurotracker also uses an Iveco hub reduction product but the rest of the heavy vehicles take the Meritor axle, such as the 130,140,153 and 177 series mainly fitted with diff lock depending on the application.

Power steering has been a major part of our product range for a number of years and with the popular units fitted to Iveco being ZF and TRW.
